Charlie reported our bank balance is $70.35. Contributions were accepted.
3. Campaign updates: Sabrina (campaign manager, Randy Auxier for Congress) reported Randy has a busy schedule of meet-and-greets, forums, and debates. His yard signs are ready: contact the campaign if you have placements for them.
Josh (for Jackson County Board) has yard signs out and meet-and-greets scheduled.

Fourth Tuesday event: September’s 4th Tuesday (the
25th) conflicts with the candidates’ meet-and-greet at
John A. Logan College. We agreed to suspend the event for this month
(unless a last-minute program materializes).
ILGP business: The state Membership Meeting is September 29-30 at
the Belleville Public Library. See http://www.ilgp.org/events.
The program emphasis is more on workshops than Party business.
Saturday night’s dinner is in nearby Freeburg, IL. Keynote speaker
is Randy Auxier. Randy’s film about rail transit will be shown.
There will be an opportunity for people to canvass for Randy in Metro
East on Sunday. There will be a silent
auction (ILGP fundraiser); donated items to sell are welcome.
